whiteowlcrochetco. began as a very small and humble crochet headband shop in 2016. While headbands are still a whiteowlcrochetco. favourite, many more handmade and digital items have quickly become popular.

The owner of whiteowlcrochetco., Mollie Conrad, was an astrophysicist in her early career and is currently a Python Developer/ Senior Data Scientist with a growing AI start-up. While she began knitting when she was a mere 4 years old, she taught herself to crochet much later during university as a method of mental relief (and procrastination)! It's safe to say during Christmas 2016, many family members received blankets made during winter exam season!

Mollie currently handmakes all crochet and knitwear, faux fur poms, scrunchies, and hang tags. She outsources to other small handmade shops whenever possible. Designing Knit and Crochet patterns is currently her passion, combining her love of math with her love of yarn!

What initially began as a hobby has quickly grown into a modern and sleek brand.
